My name is Leila Razzaghi and I was born in Iran in 2000. After excelling in secondary and high school in Iran, I moved to Cyprus in 2018 to pursue my undergraduate education in psychology at the Near East University. This program, taught entirely in English, provided me with a strong foundation in the field.
During my internship at the Özgür Adımlar Special Education Center, I had the privilege of working one-on-one with children. This hands-on experience was incredibly valuable, especially in learning about the needs of special children, which has greatly enriched my professional journey.
In 2021, I completed the American accredited Child-Centered Play Therapy training organized by Çatı Psychological Counseling and Training Center, which further enhanced my therapeutic skills. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in General Psychology at the Cyprus International University, where the program is also conducted in English.
In order to enhance my expertise, I began training with the Association of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies (BDPD) in April 2023 and successfully completed the Basic Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Building on this foundation, I completed the Skills and Practice Training in CBT in February 2024. In October 2024, I will begin my CBT supervision training.
In addition to my academic and professional experience, I have been fluent in Turkish since the age of 9, and I also provide psychological counseling in Azeri, Persian, and English.
